Global poverty

"Over one billion men, women, and children are living in slums in the developing world. These abhorrent conditions are a personal tragedy for each family that lives in them. They also represent a moral crisis for the rest of us–and a threat to the global economy and world security" UN.

More than 1.3 billion live in extreme poverty — less than $1.25 a day.

Specialists talk of a heritage of inequalities. Indeed, inequalities are widespread and huge all over the world, be it in terms of income or overall quality of life.

Resulting in poor health, bad infrastructure and declining income.

With increasing migration to cities (almost half of humanity lives in urban areas), there is increasing pressures on providing sufficient resources in a sustainable way.

Global plastic polution

Plastic packaging is increasingly designed for single use.

The destiny is littering, burning or landfill.

Only 5-10% of plastic packaging is recycled; nearly a third doesn’t even make it to landfill and instead is littered on land or swept into the ocean.  The fastest growing form of plastic packaging—flexible packaging pouches and sachets—is now used for everything from dried fruit to pet food to detergent, and is not recyclable.

Macro- and micro plastic debree  has filled the ocean to a level that is now out of controle.

Global migration

Refugee og migrant, the words covers the same event,- you are moving to find a better place.

Due to wars, climate change, powerty, population growth and battle for ressources, humans are moving to find better conditions.

Often are these movings of large poulations very unpredictable, and result in overwhelming work for the UNHCR and the local goverments.

Financial og logistic problems has to be solved quickly in countries which struggles with simular problems within their own borders.

UNHAPPY PEOPLE

UNHCR estimates the global number of refugees is 65 million and rising...
